Each area feeds the next. A weak spot in one shows up as a symptom somewhere else.

Why holistic

Most owners run their business one fire at a time.

Sales are down, so you spend more on marketing. Cash is tight, so you cut where it's easiest. Without the whole picture, it's hard to know if you're fixing the cause or just the symptom.

One area at a time hides the cause

A slow follow-up in Prospecting looks like bad leads from Marketing. Looking at all six areas together shows where the problem really starts.

Gut feel isn't a measurement

Your instincts got you here. Pairing them with real numbers tells you which ones to trust, and which decisions deserve a second look.

Growth needs a starting line

You can't plan where you're going until you know where you stand today. Measured KPIs give your goals a baseline to grow from.

The six areas

Six areas. One business. Measured together.

Every business runs on the same six connected areas. ModuleSix measures each one on what it actually controls, so a problem downstream never gets blamed on the team upstream.

01

Marketing

Getting attention and turning it into leads, and knowing what each lead really costs you.

Produces: Leads
02

Prospecting

Responding fast, qualifying, following up and getting the right people on the calendar.

Produces: Meaningful sales appointments
03

Sales

Turning appointments into customers, at the right price and in the right time.

Produces: Closes
04

Finance

The economics behind every sale: margins, cash flow and whether growth is actually profitable.

05

Implementation

Delivering on what you sold, and developing the products and services you'll sell next.

06

Customer Retention

Keeping the customers you worked so hard to win, and earning repeat business and referrals.

How it works

Your data in. Clear direction out.

Step 1

Talk it through

A guided conversation asks about your business and your numbers, the way an experienced business analyst would. No forms to decode, and "we don't track that" is a perfectly good answer.

Step 2

Measure and score

Your answers become KPIs, each scored against a clearly labeled benchmark or your own trend. The scoring is done by fixed, consistent rules, never by guesswork.

Step 3

Know what to do next

See where you're strong and where you're leaking, set your goals, and focus on the actions most likely to move them. Re-measure each month and watch the scores change.

Every score tells you where it came from

Each KPI is rated on the same five-level scale and labeled with its source: an industry benchmark, a general benchmark, a ModuleSix standard, or your own history. If a KPI doesn't fit your business, it's marked not applicable, never scored against you.

Where we're headed

One control center for your whole business.

The Control Center sits above the six areas. It brings every measurement together, tracks them against the goals you set and revise, and shows what to work on next. This is the design we're building toward.

Inside one area

Answer a few questions. See every number scored.

Here's Marketing. You tell the interview your numbers in plain words, one period at a time. ModuleSix does the math, scores each KPI against a labeled source, and rolls the result up to your Control Center.

AI for your business

Your business, with a few new teammates.

Imagine handing off the work that eats your week to AI that learns how your business runs from you. We help you build AI skills and agents around your own processes, so AI can handle routine work the way you've described it, and you can spend more time on the work only you can do.

Skills

Your know-how, written down so AI can use it: how you price a job, write a proposal or welcome a new customer. They're yours to keep.

Agents

AI that puts those skills to work on the tasks you choose. You decide what they do, and you stay in charge.

A few ideas, one for each area

Marketing

Drafts posts and emails in your voice.

Prospecting

Drafts quick follow-ups to new leads, so fewer go cold.

Sales

Prepares proposals from your call notes.

Finance

Sums up your numbers every week, in plain words.

Implementation

Keeps each job's checklist moving.

Customer Retention

Reminds you when it's time to check in with past customers.

We run ModuleSix this way ourselves.

Behind ModuleSix is an AI leadership team built from skills and agents. It advises, plans, drafts, builds and checks, and a human has the final say.

An advisory panel

Eight AI advisors, one for each of the six areas plus technology and legal risk. They meet twice a week, challenge assumptions, name the risks and each commit to a position.

A CEO advisor

Weighs the panel's views, shows where the advisors disagree and why, and recommends what to decide now and what can wait.

An operating team

AI leads run the day-to-day work: a scrum master who plans each sprint, a marketing group for research and the website, and a legal and risk reviewer who checks our public claims before a human approves them.

An engineering team

An AI lead developer builds the product, and a team of AI reviewers checks the code, the tests and the prompts before a human approves anything that ships.

We can help you build a team like this around your own business. And you own it: the skills you build are files your business keeps.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is ModuleSix?

ModuleSix is a web app for small and medium-sized business owners. It measures six connected areas of a business, from Marketing to Customer Retention, turns the owner's own numbers into scored KPIs, and helps them set goals and plan what to do next.

What are the six areas of a business?

Marketing, Prospecting, Sales, Finance, Implementation and Customer Retention. Each area feeds the next: Marketing produces leads, Prospecting turns them into sales appointments, Sales produces closes, Finance handles the economics, Implementation delivers the work, and Customer Retention earns repeat business and referrals.

How does ModuleSix score my KPIs?

Every KPI is rated on one five-level scale: Weak, Below Average, Average / Healthy, Strong or Exceptional. Each score is labeled with its source, such as an industry benchmark, a ModuleSix standard or your own trend. The AI interview gathers your numbers; fixed scoring rules do all the math.

Who is ModuleSix for?

Owners and leaders of small and medium-sized businesses in any industry, and the business coaches who work with them. ModuleSix currently serves businesses in the United States.

Do I need to track all these numbers already?

No. The interview asks whether you track something before asking for the number, and "we don't track that" is a useful answer. If a KPI doesn't fit your business, it's marked not applicable instead of being scored against you.

Is ModuleSix available now?

ModuleSix is in private testing with a hand-picked group of business owners and coaches. The Marketing area is live today and the other five areas are being built in order. Testers use ModuleSix at no cost while the areas come online.

What happens on a free intro call?

It's a free 30-minute online session with Winston, the founder of ModuleSix, and one call covers all three ways we help: coaching, the ModuleSix app, and building AI skills and agents. Talk through your business across the six areas and the next steps toward your goals, see whether the app fits, or explore where AI could help in your business.

Who is behind ModuleSix?

ModuleSix, LLC was founded by Winston Gillies, who has spent about 15 years doing business-process analysis and coaching owners through the same six areas. The app turns that method into software.

What's the difference between an AI skill and an AI agent?

A skill captures how your business does something, such as writing a proposal or following up with a lead, so AI can do it your way. An agent is AI that uses those skills to carry out tasks you give it. ModuleSix helps owners build both around their own processes.

Do I need to be technical to use AI skills and agents?

No. You explain how you do the work in plain language, and we help turn it into skills and agents you can use. You choose what they handle and stay in charge of the results, and we'll talk through what data the AI can see. It's a service from ModuleSix, separate from the app.

No more guessing about what to do next.

Look at your business as a whole, measure what matters, and grow toward the goals you set.
